Nicolla Florist is one of the oldest businesses in Wetherby and was established by Nicolla in 1967. Clair bought the shop in 2021 and has kept the name due to Nicolla Florist being a long established business with an incredible reputation for quality flowers and amazing and luxurious arrangements.

Clair has a wonderful and experienced team with Clair, Erica and Jo leading the floral designs and quality and Steph and Rosemary who keep the behind the scenes of the shop going. Clair has over 15 years experience in floristry and has extensive knowledge on flower health, growth and condition. Clair only sources the best quality flowers and works closely with her suppliers to ensure only the best flowers are displayed in your home. Not only is her experience in flowers vital when creating her designs Clair has worked in many local venues from Middleton Lodge, Woodhall to York Minster. Clair has not only attended Askham Bryan College for Floristry but also attended and completed passing with a diploma the Judith Blacklock course of business floristry in Belgravia London.

Erica and Jo are level 3 qualified florists with Wedding and event experience creating floral designs from clients homes to Wedding Venues.

All of the team at Nicolla Florist are also compassionate and will create the most elegant sympathy arrangements. They will do everything they can to find the perfect flower be it for a Leeds United fan or an RAF pilot. They know the perfect flowers and perfect colours for your flowers. Nicolla Florist only use high quality flowers to ensure they last a long time in your home or withstand being out of water on your Wedding Day.

Nicolla Florist is in the heart of Wetherby and the team really do care about their customers and the community. Each year Clair creates a faux floral arrangement for the bandstand which is displayed all summer. They also create the centre pieces for the Martin House Glitter Ball being one the events main sponsors.

Established for over 50 years, we have an enviable reputation for being one of the area’s leading creative floral designers, specialising in sympathy flowers and small events.

Nicolla Florist was a long standing interflora member but Clair did not renew her membership making Nicolla Florist a truly independent florist.

We are delighted to announce that Nicolla Florist is now under new ownership.

Award winning florist Clair Strike, bought the business in January 2021 and is enjoying welcoming you into the shop situated in the beautiful market town of Wetherby.
